From the Airport

Bus

The Airport Express (AX) runs 7 days a week, every 10-20 minutes, except for the first few morning services and evening services. You can pay on board via cash or contactless payment.

Wellington International Airport bus stop is on the ground floor carpark outside the terminal baggage area, less than 100m from Door G.

The closest stop to Shed 6 is Willis Street at Grand Arcade.

Taxi or Shuttle

Shuttle and taxi ranks can be found directly outside the baggage claim area on the Ground Floor of the main terminal.

Rental Car

Rental counters are on the Ground Level next to domestic baggage claim.

App Based Pick Up

App-based pick-up is located on the ground level to the south of the terminal. Exit on the Ground Level through Door G, head straight across the crossings and follow the walkway through the rental cars to the pick-up area at the southern end.

From the Railway Station

Please note that trains tend to be replaced by buses on the weekend so make sure you plan accordingly.

Walk

Shed 6 is only a 10 minute walk along the waterfront from the railway station. This can be a bit exposed so in bad weather you can walk down Customhouse Quay if you need more cover.

Alternatively you can take a bus from Wellington station, though this can take the same amount of time as walking (sometimes longer).
